Delete your account

You can delete your Orafide account and personal data yourself, any time, in the app.

Delete inside the app (fastest)

Open Orafide and tap Profile, then the gear icon for Settings.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Before you delete, you can tap Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data to save a copy.

What is deleted

Your account, preferences and sign-in link
Your Ask Orafide conversations and prayer journal entries on our servers
Your dating profile, likes, matches and messages
Your parish admin roles (a parish you created stays unless you also ask us to remove it)
Your notification tokens

Some information is kept where the law requires or for safety, such as billing records and reports about unsafe behaviour, for the period described in our Privacy Policy. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your device's subscription settings first so you are not charged again.

Cannot open the app?

Email privacy@orafide.ai from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Orafide account”. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We will delete your data within [30 days] and confirm by email.
